Epson 3800 Black & White Profiles for Red River Papers

Once again we have Eric Chan to thank for more great information and help printing on the Epson 3800. He has produced a series of custom ICC profiles for the Epson Advanced Black & White drivers on the 3800.

Gray Curves for the Epson 3800

Some time back, we linked to Eric Chan's well organized Epson 3800 information page. He is a gray scale enthusiast, and has produced a series of GRAY CURVES for the Epson 3800 and select Red River inkjet papers. We've posted a page on the subject with helpful links, and profile downloads here.

Epson 1400 Color Profiles Posted

Most of the color profiles for the new Epson 1400 have been posted here.

A few more are in production and will be up shortly.

Note that these profiles will also work with the Epson R380, R260, and RX580.

Big Sheets for the Epson 3800

As we mentioned in an earlier post, Red River has a great selection of large sheet for the Epson 3800. The list covers all major media types including satin, glossy, semigloss, and even a Linen surface.

On another topic, a great use for your Epson 3800 is greeting card printing. Like any Epson printer, you can create a custom paper size to match one of the three greeting card sizes we offer. The top sheet tray will hold about 15-20 cards at a time and the Epson 3800's feed mechanism seems pretty robust. Stick with glossy and matte papers 64lb. and below and feeding should be consistent.

Color Profiles - Canon Pro9000 posted / Epson 3800 in production

Most of the color profiles for the Canon Pro9000 are now up. Art paper profiles will follow early next month.

Epson 3800 profiles are in production at this time. We hope to have them posted in early Jan.

Epson 3800 Arrival

Our Epson 3800 finally arrived on Friday. We will work on testing and profile production this week. Because of Christmas and New Years, 3800 profiles will probably be posted early next month.
