Epson 1400 Announced
The newest Epson inkjet printer will replace the workhorse Epson 1280. We had hopes that the Japanese version of this printer, the PM-G4500, would make it to our shores. Like the other "Hi-Definition" printers using Claria inks, the 1400 will have individual ink tanks.
Because dye inks do not offer multi-decade long print life, the 1400 will not be for photo enthusiasts looking to keep their prints many many years. However, the 1400 will be great for other projects such as greeting cards, calendars, portfolios, marketing materials, and promotional items like mini-books and book marks.
