One of our most popular matte photo papers, Polar Matte sets the bar for how a top end inkjet paper should look, feel, and perform.

An acid free coating and base paper stock mean Polar Matte is a close to museum quality paper as you can get outside of 100% cotton art stock. With a buffered coating and minimal optical brighteners, this paper offers a pleasing neutral white shade and extra protection against paper breakdown over time. Polar is known for its excellent dMax (black intensity) with dye and pigment inks.

You can print brilliant photo quality on one side of this sheet. The back is plain paper suitable for text and graphics printing only.

Most customers who buy Polar Matte do so for finished prints, portfolio work, and greeting cards. It offers what the pro and semipro photographer expect for brilliant color and crisp black & white photography.

APO, FPO, US Territories Shipping

As of Jan 1, 2006, Red River Paper will no longer offer shipping service to APO, FPO, and US Territories. The inability to efficiently offer fast, cost effective and more automated service forces us to make this difficult choice. We will continue to look for better alternatives and will hopefully restore shipping to our customers in these locations in the future.
